1. Adventure & Activity Safety:

Risk Acknowledgment: Participation in adventure activities—including but not limited to Ziplining, 4x4 rides, ATV racing, and Archery—involves inherent risks of physical injury. By booking, guests acknowledge these risks and agree to strictly follow all safety briefings and protocols provided by Mahameruwa Leisure staff.
Physical Requirements: High-intensity activities (such as Ziplining and 4x4 rides) are not recommended for pregnant women, individuals with heart, back, or neck conditions, or those with severe physical limitations.
Safety Gear: The use of provided safety equipment (helmets, harnesses, etc.) is mandatory. Failure to comply with safety instructions will result in immediate termination of the activity without a refund.

2. Role of Woody Land Artisans & Liability:

Official Activity Provider: Woody Land Artisans acts solely as the Official Booking Facilitator for these experiences.
Operational Responsibility: All adventure activities are owned, managed, and operated exclusively by Mahameruwa Leisure.
Liability Waiver: Woody Land Artisans holds no responsibility or liability for any accidents, injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the conduct of these activities. By participating, guests agree that any claims or grievances related to the safety or execution of the activities must be directed to Mahameruwa Leisure.

3. Weather & Seasonal Conditions:

The Water Way: Boat transfers are seasonal and weather-dependent. If the river level is unsafe, an alternative transfer (Buggy or Tuk-Tuk) will be provided.
Zipline: In the event of high winds or heavy storms, the Zipline may be temporarily suspended for safety. In such cases, land-based transfers will be used.

4. Alcohol & Conduct:

Sobriety Policy: For safety reasons, guests must complete the Carpentry Workshop and Adventure Activities (Zipline/ATV/Buggy) before consuming alcohol at the Riverside Bar.
Refusal of Service: Staff reserve the right to refuse access to any adventure equipment if a guest appears to be under the influence of alcohol or substances.

5. Cancellations & Liability

Liability: Woody Land Artisans and Mahameruwa Leisure are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property (cameras, phones, etc.) during activities or river crossings.
Cancellation: Standard Viator/TripAdvisor cancellation policies apply (usually 24-hour notice for a full refund).

Footwear is Key: For your safety, closed-toe shoes (sneakers or boots) are mandatory for the Zipline and Spider Net. Please avoid flip-flops or sandals.
The 4x4 Transfer: The adventure starts on the way in! You will do a rugged off-road ride to reach the resort. Please meet at our roadside entrance.
Weather Policy: Most activities can proceed in light rain. However, in the event of heavy thunderstorms or high winds, the Zipline and Spider Net may be temporarily paused for your safety.
Weight Restrictions: To ensure equipment safety, the maximum weight limit for the Zip-line and Spider Net is 118 kg-125kg..
Age Limits: The minimum age for the Air Rifle and Archery is 6 years old (under adult supervision). Younger children are welcome to enjoy the resort grounds and 4x4 ride.
What to Bring: We recommend bringing sunscreen, insect repellent, etc.
